Rustic Place

P R O J E C T S > Architecture

Conservation of a significant grade B listed tenement in Dundee, comrpising a shop unit, 15 flats and common areas.
The project located in central Dundee and funded by Dundee City Council , was to sensitively repair a neglected building using traditional conservation methods. Extensive water penetration through neglect led the way for extensive timber decay and stone degradation through the slate roof being badly nail sick and the flashings badly weathered.
George Martin Builders were diligent in attending to the many issues the building threw up and completed the project to leave a building in a good state of repair for another 100 years.

Project commenced 2002 - completion 2010
